The way Ryan acknowledges everything Lewis says even as he is making a point is an amazing skill to have in conversation. Also, Lewis is such a kind and amazing interviewer. This video helped me a lot!

This interview was eye-opening. Not because of the content, but because I realized that the negative feelings I experienced towards the guest were a direct reflection of what I need to change about myself. 💖

I never had a passion that didn't fade. And when it fades I can't keep up the interest. Purpose lasts beyond emotions, you can remind yourself of the purpose and re validate it. When passion is the reason, the reason itself disappears.

Passion is like a warm and cozy bath tab that eventually turns cold and still. Purpose is like a cold and rocky stream that eventually carries you to your desired destination provided you stay the course.

I'm 20 mins in, loving it so far. I just enjoy Ryan's voice haha. Anyway, there is something that I'm really wondering. Maybe it will be answered, but I just wanna put it out there while it's on my mind. Where does this whole 'visualise yourself as already being successful/ a millionaire etc' fit into the whole ego vs humility conversation? Time to continue anyway...

Ryan is using too many "like" word and "you know what I mean?" expression as teenagers who can't talk with full sentences. I know it sounds harsh to say this, except that I expect better of him. With that speaking style he sounds like a layperson who is philosophizing on an armchair. Ryan should be better than that. I like his stoic bent philosophy.
