Pierce Barrett I can back this up. Now I wasn’t pro but I was intermediate up until 20 when I stopped riding. Didn’t ride for 6 YEARS. Came back n still had it. No endurance n can only last 2 laps but I still had some speed. Took awhile to get used to boots and ruts again but I was jamming again. Surprised myself. When you train for years and years it sticks with you.

I still have my 1998 YZ125 with a big boar kit when it was stock I would come out of any corner no matter if it was a down hill or a flat corner bumpy or smooth I would get that 125 straight up and down on every gear the front tire would be floating of the ground and the same now more then ever balls to the walls wide open 125 big boar screamer 125

Go look up some old video of James Stewart on his old KX125 and you will see just how fast it's possible to pilot a 125 to. JS from 03/04/05 on his old 125 would probably outpace many of the 450 field from today on most tracks. That's honestly how good and fast he was as a kid on ring ding. James Stewart was a phenom on a 125.
