Hello, my name is Charlie. I'd like to make an introduction. He's my favorite villain and I feel like I could bring something great to the role. That being said, people like this guy make my life more difficult since when people see my pfp and username, they assume that I'm one of these people. I remember when CNN was pushing stories that the Todd Phillips, Martin Scorsese, and Joaquin Phoenix "Joker" film would spurr Incel violence. It's wholly based in women being under a man's direction and control because he knows best in all situations. When I was young young girls would not even look at me even if I tried talking with them, as I got older I was never looked at still and looked at some times as a creep trying to tu blend in or to get a girl and they just avoided me even if I didn't even talk to them. They love to parrot the phrase "only respecting women you're attracted to isn't respecting women." Newsflash: only being nice to attractive men doesn't mean you're nice. And oh yes women onky act nice to attractive and model looking men there is no need to deny that we seeing what happen to women when they see an attractive guy on tik tok Instagram omegle in puplic.. Etc they melt down while with the rest of men who are poor ugly and don't share the aesthetics they get the absolute worst treatment So many women only reply back to guys who are attractive or talking hot or got aesthetics It blow my mind when women think they are virtuous and nice when they are anything but lol

Sounds like you adopted a victim mindset towards women because you got rejected and instead of accepting that you are projecting onto literally everyone else. But the reality is your mindset is flawed as you are treating women as a single thing and not a multitude of of individual people with separate personality traits and expeirences. Mabye you view women as something that is given rather than a person that gets to choose thier own life. It seems to me that you have either been burned and adopted this view to make up for your hurt and lack of self esteem or grew up being taught this mindset. Also, if you look at the comments of the person you are arguing with, you will notice that they have taken you argument into account amd have even agreed with you on some aspects. Because PEOPLE can be absolutely awful. It seems like you expect women to give you something when you interact with them like your earning a reward. But women are not some quest or object they are people and the sooner you can get that through your head the easier interacting with women are going to be. And you are definitely going to find PEOPLE who are going to be absolute Aholes to you regardless of gender. Thats life. People can suck. I've had both women and men treat me like crap. i actually had to end a friendship with a guy who was very intensely very nice. we got in touch through mutual friends at school, and i found him super cool, since we shared similar, very niche interests. he wasn't very popular in school, people seemed to avoid him, but i didn't understand why, he seemed so super nice. he asked for my socials and started hanging out with me and my friendgroup at school. he was pretty shy and quiet, so he'd really only talk to me and another girl who he had known for longer. i'd listen to his stories that would over time evolve into long rants and trauma dumps and i'd listen and try to help - not realizing how exhausting it was for me. eventually he started showing physical attention, hugging and giving me headpats, even made up a nickname for me: Cookie, since i was "sweet and little." I felt a bit uncomfortable at his touch, but i convinced myself it's fine, and it is merely his way of showing kindness and friendliness. then, over time, this guy would want to offer me rides home and if i'd decline ("ah i wouldnt want to bother haahaa") he'd get frustrated and insist to wait for the bus with me. at this point my friends and boyfriend grew totally suspicious of him, but i'd insist he means well. then the gifts would come. little chocolate bars he'd sometimes let me choose, sometimes they'd be hidden in my bag. he'd ask if i had found them, seemed offended if i had not. he would claim his "friend-language" is giving gifts, and i swallowed every word. one thing he apparently thought we shared was speaking english in totally random occasions. where i live, english is not a native language, yet he'd speak it out of the blue in a conversation previously held with our native language. i'd play along, but oftentimes it got very intense and even a bit frustrating. it might not seem that weird, but it felt as if he was trying to search for any inside jokes or things between us. then one day he asked to meet me outside of school. he casually asked if i had any plans for the week and after i said no, he asked me to meet him at his house. i tried to think of reasons for not going (i was getting very uncomfortable at that point), like me not having a ride or it being very late, but he insisted he could pick me up and bring back. i didn't want to go, but i nevertheless agreed. during the meeting he'd talk so much about how much it meant to him that we met and how he's so excited and since it seemed like a big deal to him, i didn't want to disagree. at 9pm i wanted to go home, but he insisted he drink one beer and he would be good to drive in two hours. he was keeping me there, alone at his house, and i was getting upset, but i played cheerful and happy to be there. needless to say, my boyfriend got super angry. he was a bit disappointed in me, but he understood my reasoning and difficulties with setting boundaries. i told this overly nice guy about the situation, and he claimed he didn't mean to cause any trouble and that he totally respects my relationship. the funny thing is: he didn't respect it at all. he'd claim during our whole friendship that it is just that - friends. but what i heard from this mutual friend of ours was something entirely else. apparently he used to rant so much to her about me and how he likes me so much. he lied straight to my face and suddenly every hug, every nickname and especially the meeting had a different light shone on them. i felt awful, i felt like a naive child. the worst is, he simultaneously had a big crush on this mutual friend, and he had a big problem with her boyfriends and the people she associated with. he would rant to _me_ about how she doesnt know what's the best for her and how he will "keep on pursuing" her and all this creepy stuff. eventually it all bursted. he'd start complaining after school how everyone's gatekeeping me and the other girl from him, how he "was pushed away from the two people he came to meet" and at that point the creeps truly hit in. i remember one time especially, when he wanted to talk to me after class, fuming and shaking with rage. every time i took a step back, he'd inch closer. i feared he would do something to me, fortunately my friend came in to interrupt the situation. later i heard from him that he was so angry from the interruption and so mad at my friend he almost crashed his car in the traffic, as he was screaming so much he wasn't focusing on the road. at that point i had to call it cuts. with my boyfriend's encouragement i explained that it is too much, and that i need space. i blocked all his social media accounts and at school my friends acted as a protective barrier between me and him. he'd continue gaslighting and pleading after that too, he'd stare at my friends with daggers in his eyes and for a long time i was afraid he'd show up to my door since he knew my address. (he had done that to the mutual friend before.) he was the first case where i truly had to learn to set boundaries with people. i was so afraid i hurt his feelings, but now i know i had to step away from a situation that wasn't treating me with kindness and grace anymore. there are so many more details, but this is already so long. so so sorry for the long rant :'> TLDR: i was friends with a nice guy who made me his sole focus in life and i got scared and gaslit :'>

I’ll never forget reading a text conversation between a guy who was my friend and a newish guy who started flirting with me. My “friend” (who had said on multiple occasions that he was aware I didn’t want anything beyond friendship and said he was cool with that) said “dude, I put so much work into this, you can’t just come in and take her, you’ll ruin everything.” Like I was a school project. All it takes is a few of those to make you distrust every single guy who says they’re only interested in friendship. Your situation sounds genuinely frightening though, I’m so glad you had people around you who you could go to for advice and protection! He sounds unwell.

A lot are also taught that if they're not screwing every woman they see in sight, then they're a failure of a man. They're also led to believe that women owe them a date and that they as men are entitled to our bodies, time and attention. @@KevinLuper99People can see genuine acts of love. Overly nice gestures are different. As a woman who have been a victim of this as early as 12yr old, there is a difference. @amyfinn7824Ай бұрын
@KevinLuper99 this person isn't saying that loving a partner is bad or manipulative. Love bombing is different than just loving your partner. They're explaining why certain guys who consider themselves "nice" or are acting overly nice, especially early on, can set off warning bells because it can be a sign of manipulation and abuse. And usually is happening concurrently with them not respecting boundaries. "Love bombing is a manipulative tactic that involves showering someone with excessive affection to gain control over them. It's often used at the beginning of a relationship, especially a romantic one, and can include behaviors like: Gifts: Giving lavish or unnecessary gifts that are valuable enough to make the recipient feel indebted Compliments: Giving exaggerated flattery and compliments, sometimes to the point of making the recipient feel uncomfortable Attention: Demanding constant attention and appearing to depend on the recipient for comfort and support Future planning: Making grand promises early in the relationship, like marriage or moving in together Isolation: Trying to isolate the recipient from their friends and family Public displays: Frequently making public declarations of love Other signs of love bombing include: Taking an interest in the recipient's family, career, and hobbies Complimenting and criticizing the recipient at the same time Ignoring the recipient's schedule and time Needing constant reassurance Being in a rush to lock things down Being unable to take "no" for an answer Liking the recipient better when they're alone Over-communicating love Love bombing can make the recipient feel overwhelmed, uneasy, or off-balance. Although it's not a diagnostic term, mental health professionals often use it to describe the manipulative behavior of narcissistic or abusive people. One survey found that the average duration of love bombing is five and a half months for narcissistic men and three and a half months for narcissistic women."

It is, in fact, men who are the emotional and crazy ones. For any guy who doesn’t understand how being “too nice” is bad: Have you ever been spoken to by a scammer? They’re usually super nice and complimentary, wanting you to really trust them and feel at ease with them so that they can get you to do something you don’t want to or buy a bad product. Another example: Have you ever seen how a cult reels in its victims? It’s called Lovebombing, and it’s all about showering them with affection and gifts and attention so that they’re seen a good experience and nice to be with so they can, again, start getting you to do things you don’t want. They also threaten to take away the lovebombing to guilt you. Considering this, if you are also absolutely showering us with a bunch of love and gifts and attention, we have to wonder: Why is he using the same tactics as these bad people? What else does he have in common with them? Because people who use this tactic are most likely either trying to “sell” us a bad “product” (themselves) or are trying to trick us into doing something we don’t want to do. People who have a good product don’t have to butter people up to have them buy a good product. Talk to them, yeah, but not attack them constantly with sweetness. TLDR: It doesn’t come off as sweet and loving, it comes off as sneaky and weird, like you’re trying to sell us a lemon.
