Awesome footage!! These videos always make me wonder about body shells and how much they actually have an effect on laptimes. With that camera on the body besides the weight do you think aerodynamics are affected? Thanks for sharing bro 🏎💨💯👊👊💪💪👍👍
@RyanLutz3 жыл бұрын
Usually it just feels like the front end has a bit more steering and roll and the rear a little lighter feeling. Some tracks I feel it want to tip over easier, more so the higher the grip level. But the only settings I change are raising the front ride height 2 turns and drive it. :-)

Nice run Ryan, you and the buggy was dialed in on that one. Did you add weights on the front to offset the camera weight or is it centered enough not to affect the "in air" physics?
@RyanLutz3 жыл бұрын
All I do is raise front ride height 2 turns on the shock collars. The camera itself is on the front windshield.

Have you ever used a super cheap china buggy on a track? Im curious how big of a difference it actually is between a very cheap car and a expensive buggy

I have not. But tires will make the absolute biggest difference. Also materials quality is a big difference regarding durability and wear. But it would be a very interesting test.

Do you have a local track that you know of? If so go and talk with the race director or the local hobby shop and get what is most popular in your area. That will give you the most support at the track and be able to help you along.
