Rather than think about "what you should have done", I'm more impressed with how you handled the situation. Mistakes will be made because you're making decisions within a thousandth of a second. How you recover from those mistakes is what makes you different. I love that you didn't give up because you were passed by a handful of people. Also, your ability to stay calm and "THINK" through the problems ahead of you and work with other drivers, is so impressive and I can't count how many times I've pointed out to my boys of your amazing abilities. Racing wouldn't be as fun without trying different things and learning from them but your approach after those mistakes is what really makes you a great racer. Nice work Ryan!

This might be a dumb question, and i race four strokes so im not a total noob, but why cant karts have side mirrors? If somebody did would they be disqualified? How can you effectively race defensively without mirrors? Do you look back after every corner exit??
@NorbergNation3 жыл бұрын
There is really no need for them. You can just look back whenever you want

In my opinion you shouldn’t have defended and stuck to your line, knowing that the leaders tyres would fall off at the end. Also one thing that I have noticed that you guys bump draft as much as the British champs do, obviously correct me if I’m wrong I’m a fairly new viewer
@NorbergNation3 жыл бұрын
We really only bump draft when we are chasing down the leader. It’s only because the tracks we race at have long straights

novoal4646@....Great informative tutorials Ryan ...great for the kArting community worldwide ...thx for bringing your in thoughts whilst racing and yes I also use OMP racing here in Thailand and good to see OMP coming onboard ...thoughts about round 4 and lower tyre pressures and I understand why you use lower pressures opted for in the final but you have compromised yourself because of it ...if you push harder to get the the tyre temp up you lose rubber more and not have much left for the last laps but if you drive within the kart and not push the tyre you are not faster than the rest ...cache 22 situation ...but for me with the lower tyre pressures I think I would have pushed to the front trying to get more heat into the tyres and make the gap and let them destroy there higher pressure tyres trying to get to you ...just thoughts Ryan ....what would all do next time and like to know your analysis also of that lower tyre pressures..? I am enjoying my kArting once again after a 12 year hiatus but now living and racing in Thailand now but I am a 63 Australian and the oldest racing in Thailand atm ...doesn’t matter about the age although a little slower as the body not so nimble but Ryan its so enjoyable racing again and especially in a different country.. Keep up the good work mate lovin the vids ..

Thank you for watching. And yes tire pressure is always a catch 22 if you don’t hit it correctly. I probably would have started a little higher on pressure the next time. Glad your getting back in the seat after 12 years!
