It’s impractical and an unnecessary expense for them to fly back and forth, or paying to have their co-host to fly back and forth and force them to take time off their day jobs to film with them. The podcasts and vlogs is their bread and butter so they can’t stop those. If maintaining both mortgages is not possible, the rational solution is to sell the Colorado property. Alternatively, they could rent it out but the best rental property long-term for renters would be one where the renters can use the entire property, meaning, they need to move the alpacas out of there. Airbnb has already been crossed off as an option because of potential haters renting and damaging the property. They will have a MUCH more difficult time finding someone to rent to who is cool with packing up anytime who also has a secondary property they can move into at a moments notice when they want to visit. Not many people wanting to pay for 2 rental properties, especially when one of the properties cannot be made into a home since they’d have to bounce anytime they want to visit Colorado.

And Ryland, I wanted to address what you said in your other video about not wanting to raise your boys in the snow. I am 34 years old and I have lived in Colorado my entire life. The climate is changing and it’s getting hotter every year. While it’s true that it used to snow pretty much October through March, it’s snows like two months out of the year now and though it gets cold in winter, the rest of the time it’s 70 to 100° outside. Right now I am suffering in the heat in Colorado. It’s going to be 98° today. And your fans aren’t telling you to keep both houses, if you had to keep one we wanted you to sell the California house. Lol.
@Piecesoftheshadow5 ай бұрын
I can understand how he feels. The cold is still the cold, even if it’s not as bad there as it used to be. You couldn’t pay me enough to leave sunny southern California to move to a cold state again. I left the east coast for a lot of reasons, but the cold being one of many, and I’d never go back. It’s just a very different lifestyle when the weather is nice all year long and then the winters are just perfect with fall like weather.

And Ryland I have to admit that your vlogs make me excited to become an adult and move out of my house, and take on adult things (I’m 20 atm lol), because many people create this idea of becoming an adult so dreadful and unhappy, but you two give me excitement like no one else has. ❤️ And because you asked for it in the comments I have been averaging 9k-10k steps a day, because of Ryland talking about it a month or two ago. Yes, Ryland inspired me too Shane LMAO. I’ve now dragged my boyfriend or bestfriend to come on daily walks with me, and Shane I agree with you how I feel so much brighter, happier and healthier striving to do 10k steps a day. I recommend going outside more because a good sun sweat feels refreshing! Btw! I haven’t forgotten about a (maybe) tour of the Shane podcast and I will fly all the way to LA to see you guys! I love this era for the both of you! I hit between 30k-33k steps a day. I’m a mail carrier for usps so I’m walking all day everyday 🤪

Shout out to Lizzie for being the hottest yet realest with pregnancy, its a breath of fresh air to see someone go through it realistically not the influencer 'what they want you to see' bs

So I was on my 10,000+ step streak from the beginning of the year to mid April. I was getting close to 20,000. I got laid off a couple months ago and I lost all motivation. Yesterday I was sitting at a total of 3,045 steps for the whole day. After watching the video y’all inspired me and today I got 10,529. Thank you. It’s a push I needed

My average steps are 2700 😬 but this has seriously motivated me to start the challenge. Thank you guys 🥰🥰🥰 I love seeing shane like this. It makes me so unbelievably happy!!!

I seen how Shane looks better and now it all makes sense. Great job! I don't do a walking pad but I do half hour on an excercycle. May not sound impressive but I notice I can do it straight without breaks and can raise the tension.

So I work from home and average about 3/4000 steps a day, however, I've just been diagnosed with IIH which is a constant build of spinal fluid in the brain that causes terrible headaches and brain tumour-like symptoms. I'm now on treatment but one thing I have to do is lose weight, and I've been struggling to get back into it since the pain stopped me for a long time, but this 'stepping it up' thing has even got me to buy a Fitbit to track my steps and everything else health-wise and start improving, so hopefully, in a few weeks, there will be some step improvements!!
