Thank you for the video, I purchased it last year and now wanting to use it for a grout removal job. I was unable to find the bladed that came with it and Home Depot are selling blades in a pack with other blades I don’t need, ended up getting Milwaukee blades.

I have a Makita and I use it for almost every cutting or sanding job I undertake myself. I am in the process of more discs. But I really like the Ryobi one you reviewed. Its worth a thought, but do they have the replacement discs or do I have to go universal?

"Blade" is usually the term for accessories for multi tools. You many be thinking of the discs for angle grinders, which can be mistaken for multi tools at a quick glance. Ryobi do make replacement blades of several types for multi tools. However, many opt to run contractor grade blades and accessories to improve their overall experience. I believe the only types of replacement blades that will not work are Starlock.

Nice video. People buying/using a Ryobi multi-tool for the first time are trying to figure out how to insert/change the blade. At 0.49, you somehow open the back with your thumb, but you don't mention or show how you did it. My new Ryobi uses a hex key, so I assume this model is different.

When did this tool come out? Will a new one come out at RIDGID?

I just purchased one and cannot get the nose off.
@JuanPerez-u1y9 ай бұрын
If you purchased the first model it should come with an Allen wrench to take off the nose.

If it’s the newest model shown, you have to pull HARD to remove the “nose” to install & remove blades

You need to go correct the sales and marketing team at Ryobi because they’ve been pronouncing their company name wrong for years.

It’s “produced?” Lmao You’re, incorrectly btw, trying to correct the pronunciation of Ryobi,’ and you’re making a huge typo? It is Ree-O- Bee, btw, skippy. There ya go

I've had every Ryobi OMT and I have not been impressed. The last model vibrated so much in my hand it was unusable. Looks like this one's a loud ass vibrating piece of crap too. Pro tip use better blades (Diablo or Milwaukee nitro) for better results!
