RYOBI Trimmer 18V ONE+ REVIEW - HOW TO USE IT

This RYOBI string trimmer / edger has a 12 in. cutting swath and a telescoping, rotating shaft, and is versatile and lightweight. You can set the trimmer's height and flip it over to convert to an edger. Great for cutting tall grass and weeds. Very easy to setup and operate. I will also show you how you can replace the line on your RYOBI trimmer and do a quick review. It works with any Ryobi ONE+ batteries you already own, ni-cad or lithium-ion.

I bought mine in 2020 and still can't keep my line from breaking off every 15 seconds of use. I've gone through several spools. If I don't end up figuring out why this is happening, I'm cutting my losses and getting a better quality trimmer. I tried 0.08 with slight improvement, even though the manual says to use only 0.065. Now that I've seen your video, maybe I'll try without the grass guard since it has that built-in blade.

I just went through this today. It breaks off, rather than progressing the string forward. Two rolls, did the same thing. Beyond frustrated.

Just got one of these used, a P2006 12". Can't seem to find the combination to telescoping the shaft. Maybe some versions of these come without that feature?

DUST Till Dawn definitely bang-for-buck my top choice. The corded ones are too much of a headache to work with and the gas ones need regular servicing. Battery is the new way to go! Thanks for the comment :)
