Malicious_Taco there's actually a japanese philosophy that says that things are more beautiful if they are old/broken, and that way sometimes when they repair it they don't try to make it seem like it's like new, on the contrary, they show the cracks (like when they use gold as glue on the broken bowls and dishes)
Julia Sepúlveda That's very interesting! Thank you for the video on it :)

FINALLY! Someone who pointed it out
@limitlessbianca5 жыл бұрын
But I think he did the subtitle himself?
@Pammellam5 жыл бұрын
Yes, he says what you noted, he definitely does not say TERRIBLE in Japanese. Before that he says: “Latte art wa muzukashi.” Which means “Latte art is difficult.” He was referring to the amount of foam made with that particular almond milk meaning that it was difficult to control the form of the almond milk to make latte art. Not that it was “terrible”. I don’t know if he did the subtitles himself. But his English is good. I don’t think he would make a mistake like that.
@kiy23475 жыл бұрын
こうなんですよliterally means "its like this", but he actually means it's terrible. When you speak Japanese to Japanese people you always need to pay attention to understand what people want to implicate. This case he thinks it's terrible so he put correct subtitles. Japanese can't be translated into English straightly.
I always find your videos so enjoyable and relaxing to watch. Oh and terrible latte art? Ha! 😏 Is there anything you can’t do? 😊
