Im running 9800X3D + 4070ti super OC + 64 GB Ram Dominator 6600 MHz and 7000+ SSD and im not even on 200 fps ffs

@@isection7330 Yeah that’s not good especially with ur specs. Try optimizing it by watching a vid, I did an optimization vid and surprisingly it works well. But also idk why but I randomly am getting lower fps today than yesterday. Like I was getting 700fps in og mode the other day and now I’m getting 500 fps so I think Fortnite’s update messed something up cause I’m also getting lower fps than I supposed to.

@kingluki6917 yeah i run with 200 fps on battlefield 2042 on ultra with RT on. Bios and nvidia app display everything fine

Im still rocking the r7800x3d, with 4070s, so should i upgrade to the 9800x3d now. or should i wait for the 5090 to come out then upgrade?

If you're serious about competitive then 240hz. These games are stacked so you won't be able to hold more than 240hz even with the best specs. Almost all pros play on 240hz because it's currently the perfect balance between smoothness and frame stability.

@@thebirdfromtwitter1249 incorrect. They use 240 hz because that is the cap at Fortnite LAN events for some reason. They would all be playing on 500hz monitors otherwise.

@ I don’t know but I do know the 7800xt is equally as good as the 4070 super so that’s why I don’t know if it will be less or more but you won’t notice the difference

@@supermoto8238 dependerá en tu monitor, si tienes un 240hz, debes selectar 240fps, si tienes un monitor de 165hz, juega 165 fps. Entonces, si su PC puede manejarlo, seleccione los fps que tiene su monitor.

@@Zenekwastaken I have an RTX 4080s I play at 2.5k DX12 and it doesn't go above 300fps. When I activate performance mode nothing changes, it stays the same fps

why would u get a r7 9800x3d just to pair it with the 4070s

@@TheMonke5 because in February or January I’ll be getting the 5090 or 5080. The 9800x3d was at my local microcenter and instead of buying the gpu and cpu in at the same time costing $2500+, I’ll just buy one part now and the other when it comes out.
