I just picked up my kit and hauled it home. I hope to #FlyRANS within a couple of years and the fast build design along with the high wing are two of the reasons I chose RANS rather than Vans.

That's a great alternative. Our assembly crew recently completed an S-21LS (N21US) that uses a detachable iPad swivel mount, and it turned out great!

@@SkyRayden100 Great question! It's actually a black two-layer matte plastic sheet with a white substrate that is exposed when the overlay is engraved. Most engraving shops are familiar with this type of material as it's very commonly used!

To bad they won't answer the phone or return calls, I'll take my business elsewhere. Just ordered a glastar which the basic design of the plane looks amazingly the same minus the glass, and is much more refined.
