I decided to take a stab at making a music video and some of the lovely folks from the TorontoStuck crew came out one bitter cold Saturday to help me shoot this.
It was QUITE the learning experience. For one thing? Steadycam is hard work. For another, there is no such thing as too many back up plans or being over-prepared.
Thanks to everyone who came out and made this happen, I couldn't have done it without you!
And to note! The missing trolls aren't there because a bunch of people we'd expected to join us didn't show up, and some roles we just couldn't fill at the time. The doubles are for the same reason- we were supposed to have a LOT of doubles, ended up with just 2.

You know, I still absolutely love this even if its almost 5 years old. Everyone is awesome in it and you can tell it was a very high quality production. I hope the cosplayers look back on this and say "Hey, I was really good in this!". I know I would!

This is my favourite Homestuck CMV because it was the first one I ever saw when I started reading Homestuck and it really captures the overall feeling of Homestuck before Act 6 for me, which is around when the mood of Homestuck changed (for the worse or the better is up to you). Everytime I see it I feel this great nostalgia bomb and I love you all to death for letting me feel that! Thanks, torontostuck :)

All of that shot in one day? That's amazing considering getting all those people together and lip synching and wow. And I couldn't even tell it was cold -- all the cosplayers were doing such a good job (geez those scenes where people are sitting/laying on the ground must have been brutal!)
