great show, I like this guest, he warns about this big up move being the last for a while. is he right?? I dont know but no one else knows either. our job as traders is NOT to predict future prices but to set proper stop losses or trailing stops to take us out when a big down move starts.

Dave, again want to complement you on your show on the mindful investor blog and chart list. your tone today was more bullish, but if you look at your list, I think the last six posts on the mindful investor since the Hindenburg omen they all have been negative titles. I think getting rid of the trend lines that keep failing was an indication of your new bullish tone ,the 20 day exponential moving average has really been a perfect automated trend line when the S&P breaks that then maybe this ends take care

TNX looks to be in an ascending triangle , I will be watching to see which way it breaks. The Fed wants to cut and that may push the long end down but OTOH the government is broke and getting broker. The markets relentless climb is also inflationary (remember Greenspan and "intentional obfuscation" of forward guidance?) Most all believe inflation will come down, housing is already moving back up, Lets see what happens

David sure sticks his neck out...his narrative is a bit too convenient. Over the next few months for example, it is hard to envision a catalyst that can crash rates to below 3%, AND have markets melting up from these elevated levels at the same time. You'd have to think there will be a lot of economic pain for rates to have such a swift move downwards, and that can't be good for corporate earnings, could it?

Hunter's timing has been atrocious historically. Be careful about following his timed predictions on a top in equities (1. massive positive sentiment, and 2. Powell reversing to increase rates, 3. a top in 3-8 months).

Every time I hear David Hunter, and he does a lot of media, I sell something. Am up to about 25% cash now, and don't buy anything unless share price drops at least 20%. "It's not a stock market, it's a market of stocks".
