Alex greetings, well done my brother. It's very appropriate to reveal now what Islam say about Solar eclipse some 1450 years back during the Prophet Mohammed ( SW) life time. Prophet had a son by name Ebrahim who expired one day and all the family and his companions were very sad, and on that day a Solar eclipse happened quite naturally. People claiming this incident as even the Sun expressing condolences to the Prophet by showing it through its Eclipse. Learning about this stupidness Prophet immediately disclosed and proclaimed publicly this way. Oh my people, Sun and Moon are moving along its path ordained by God on its own path naturally and earthly affairs do not influence their affairs at all, so don't spread wrong and false superstitious believes. All such things are Natural happenings. This happened in the so called "6th century Dark Ages".
