I am always surprised at how beautiful Simon’s Town is. The drive down the main road through the town centre all the way to Boulders Beach was fantastic. Of course we had to go down to Boulders to see the African Penguins. This was our first visit to this beach and it was awesome to see these cute little guys and gals. We also drove past the largest Naval Base in South Africa and spotted some naval vessels docked in the harbour. There’s a great view of the harbour at Jubilee Square at the waterfront! This is also where a monument of Able Seaman, Just Nuisance, the only dog to have served in the Royal Navy, can be found. We then decided to go find his grave which we did. What an inspirational dog he was! The views of Simon’s Town from the top of the hill were just astounding! #DustBugs #adventuretravel #southafrica #southafricavlog #travelongravel #capetown #westerncape #simonstown #tablemountain
