The shock on the guy's face on the pedestrian crossing when someone actually stopped was priceless.
@volneisilva1199 Жыл бұрын
I've noticed that too.
@S.Dreamer10 ай бұрын
In Greece, we don't use ti stop in pedestrian crossings. Even if we want, we must check for the following car, for it may hits as from behind (as they expect us to not stop). Especially if it's a double line roadside, the other vehicle (to your side) may not stop and hit the croasing person. So, watch out when you drive in these streets.

Noraly it occured to me that in terms of motorcycling touring/adventure riding RTW there are two approaches; hare vs. tortoise. The "hares" ride large powerful machines that allow for hard and fast riding. The "tortoise" approach is smaller bikes ridden slow but steady and one gets to enjoy the scenary a bit more. You are in the "tortoise" camp so PLEASE tell us you helped that poor tortoise to make it safely across the road! Slow but steady wins the race! Carry on Basanti!

It says a lot about your confidence, the country and arguably it's police riders that you waved (11:17) to one as you overtook! I'm fascinated to see your trip next to Albania. When I visited the country flying hot air balloons in the 90s after the revolution and fall of the dictator, our group had to bribe a senior police officer at the port to enter the country. I was then told by a chief of police following a landing 'without permission' on the edge of Tirana that I was now banned from flying in the capital, the country or the world ever again. So, I'm looking forward to see how things have improved from you and surely a world ambassador.

Hi Randhir. It makes you think how incredible Alexander was! To be such a general as he was is truly astounding. It's not for nothing that he's today recognized as the greatest general that ever lived, and influenced the world profoundly by spreading Greek civilization through it's 400 years long lasting Greek kingdom of Afghanistan and parts of Pakistan/India up to even the fact that the Buddha was first made by the Greeks, and for 1000 years the Greek buddha stream was the largest in all of Asia until the rise of Islam 1000 years later in the 7th century AD. But also through Alexander's 4 generals that each got a slice of his kingdom and for centuries became very successful and where Greek civilization kept influencing the ancient world. Truly remarkable to know that Noraly has been driving for months at a speed of a Motorcycle, and yet Alexander the Great did all that

The mountains north of Schodar are stunning, as is the small town of Theth, which is very difficult to reach on 2 wheels via the SH21. Despite what you hear of criminal gangs, everyone I met, without exception, were so friendly.
