I am thinking of also building a custom harness for my s14 kouki. Love the idea of having a quick connect at the firewall. At the moment I'm busy with prepping my engine bay for a repaint. It was such a pain in the ass to pull the harnesses trough the firewall

Ya. Always is. I love having it simple and through the firewall with a connector. So clean too!

Perfect timing for me as I look to make my first harness on my Kouki. What was the name of the quick connect you used at the firewall for the engine harness? do you happen to know if it has enough pins for a more 'stock' sr20 offering without the TB? Also having not watched the rest of the series yet, do you also plan to quick release the accessories harness? deffo want to do this to mine! Great video look forward to binge watching the rest tomorrow

Sorry for the late reply. Things have been stalled on the build due to life! For the quick connect, I like to use Amphenol ADHM series connects. They aren't as expensive as some of the higher end connectors, but they still do the job. They also use the standard Deutsch solid barrel contact. I'm planning on using them for both the engine harness, as well as the accessories harness. There are several different configurations, and they would definitely work for a stock system. Good luck with the build, and don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions about the wiring. Best to DM me on Facebook. Link is in the profile.

Are you going to run EMAP? Not sure if the link can do that . Would be cool

I'm pretty sure it can, but I wasn't planning on running it myself.
