S2 E6 Fixing Corner Crunches and Spine Twisting on Comic Books by KaptainMyke - 1988 Dark Horse Comics ALIENS #1 VG-. Made a quick 2 minute video of mitigating a nasty corner crunch. I spent 10 minutes working out the nasty corner crunch and deep denting on back cover. Every single page of this book was impacted by the spine trauma. I made this quick video to give you guys hope on an impossible book with corner crunch and black cover. This is the absolute worst possible example on a black cover. You will have better success with a corner crunch on a white or light cover.

Why was your iron set at 4 at the beginning of the video?

I recommend a 1 or 2 but sometimes stubborn creasing can require a 3 or 4 setting on the tack iron. Cardstock covers also require a 4
