Accidental saves seems to be my bread & butter since I learned proper positioning. As a guy in his 40s sometime those accidental ones boost my confidence the most.

Many moons ago I was in Mitchell On on the first leg of the Bantam WOAAs…. Game 7, team is up by 2… massive glove save with seconds to go….and I windmilled the puck into the top corner😂😂. Very nervous final 20 seconds waiting for that buzzer.

I want to improve my blocker hand should throw a racquetball off the wall like I do with my glove hand . Do I do the same thing but with my blocker hand

That would help as well as learning Skill rehearsal and visualization. Search for those videos or books online… they make a big difference.

I gotta work on my windmills. I feel the puck hit my glove and am like, “thank goodness I caught it”. Gotta turn that flash up a few notches. Just gotta be careful not to pull a Patrick Roy, “Ha ha! Look what I found” proceeds to drop the puck into the net.
