Now, I am emotional as I listen to the story of the life of this advocate. I'm glad you mentioned the power in the Grace of God. He's the true GOD . He will never leave His people nor forsake them. JESUS IS LORD!

You can infer from his answers that he has got Mthatha flavour. I know it for a fact that he will never disappoint in articulating his position. I remember him when he makes sense out of nonsense and reconcile the irreconcilable in court. He has the art of grabbing the Judges attention every time. We are proud of our legal giants

Mthatha flavour ya moroto wena? You must look at him proudly as a black person not based on this artificial segregation influenced by location.

The first time met Adv PHS Zilwa then not SC in Mthatha High Court he struck me as very competent.....i think it was 2002 representing accused persons in multiple murder cases and robbery, possession of firearms and ammunition....thise people were convicted and sent to jail for very long time but after the trial everyone in court was extremely impressed by his argument.....he demonstrated high level of alertness and unparalleled taking note skills....he inspired me a lot....m not surprised that he was elected to the bench....he was more deserving. Note made on Tuesday 10/10/2023.

The question from the Minister of Justice, since the state is struggling to find people with the requisite legal experience and caliber of the SC, wouldn't maybe lowering the threshold for appointment of the vacant positions they seek be a possible solution to this pickle? Surely some junior counsels would like to apply but lack what is required. Government could then seek and lower their mandate and still find people who are equally passionate and legally qualified as the SCs they currently want to fill the positions that will drive transformation in the legal fraternity...
