Saab 9-5 2010-2011 LED Trunkbar Repair Kit Installation!

The owner of the led bar i bought some years ago also put on a repair kit on the led bar. And he used super glue on the ends like a lot, so the pins got broken in the new repair. So for anyone thinking of using super glue on the repair, I would like to say “stay away from that glue”. Use the melting glue guns.

Great video! You can actually remove the broken screw by heating it with a soldering iron untill it starts moving and unscrew it with a narrow jaws pliers. Did it on my light bar.

I Did it two weeks ago with the same kit, fan and screws. Be careful when connecting wires to the controller board. I accidentally broke one connector lever somehow and had to order new kit. I didn't replace inner leds. They were working fine. The most tricky part was pushing new outer led wires through :D

Hello Jonas looking at the Logic Board with the H Blom logo on top the 3rd black slot on the LHS is not required. At 15.38 in the tutorial.

Just wondering - ledbar back cover is not really that tight, it still got some holes (for cables i.e). Wouldn't it be enough to drill two-three more holes so the moist could easily evaporate and not to install the fan?

A few has drilled small holes in the glas for the licensplate lightning and it works without a fan
