I watched an interview with Tina and she never rehearsed this song with Sabaton. Tina and Pär (bassist) went through the song using videocalls. And then this happened That is crazy. Hahahahaha

AWESOME reaction to my favourite guys for almost 20 years, thank you SO much, deserved a follow, definitely! I finally managed to see them live last year and ofc sung my lungs out to this crowd pleaser! Can't wait for more Sabaton songs, maybe consider "Hearts of Iron", "Winged Hussars", "Cliffs of Gallipoli" or "The Red Baron" . Greetings from Germany :)

@@purplebutterflywithabrokenwing Since it was a special occasion (30 years of Wacken, 20 Years of Sabaton), they called in all former band members and they played on both stages at the same time. Joachim was on the left hand stage stage with the (then) current band members, while on the right hand stage was Pär with all former band members. Regarding the video: unfortunately the dialog between Joachim and Tina (well, it was mostly a monologue) has been cut out for the most part. Basically Joachim asked Tina to choose - "totally freely" - the next song, "and do not listen to these fuckers"Joachim said, while pointing at the audience. Of course she chose Swedish Pagans. The running joke is that Joachim is always pretending to dislike the song and to be unwilling to play it, while the band members and the crowd want him to play it and somehow always succeed in dragging him into it. And this time it was Tina who "forced" him to play this song ;-). Hi - New subscriber here, I just wanted You to know that there is a video with Tommy Johansson, former guitarist of Sabaton (he just announced he's leaving after 7 years) out. He and Erik Grönwall has FINALLY joined in a two-way collab. The first in out now on Erik's channel. Tommy and Erik joined together to perform Sabaton's "CAROLUS REX": kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5vEkqKwgsl3nac Erik is the current singer in Skid Row, which also is his all-time favourite band. He auditioned for Swedish Idol in his youth with "18 and life" acoustic and later won Swedish Idol. He then joined the metal band H.E.A.T and left them when he got an offer to be the new singer in Skid Row. In 2020 he was sick and thought it was Covid-19, but he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia and got immediate treatment. In September 2021 he was announced cancer free.
