@soulbreakerthelastmanalive there is a reason this one doesn't have English subtitles. It is sung for Swedes and Finns, me and you have google its already been translated. Oddly enough some of it got the gist of without speaking Swedish due to the moving of languages across borders.

This and the English version are different. This is from the perspective of a soldier which is a stark difference from the impersonal lamentation of the war in the English version. Listen to both. That's the complete story.

Such a great song and I hope cool history or foreign language teachers would use these songs as a creative way to teach history. I know the US/NATO war in Afghanistan was recent but I’d imagine Sabaton can make awesome content to commemorate those who fought in the Korangal Valley, Helmand. etc. Or something on Ahmed Shah Masood (Northern Alliance commander who was the bane of the Taliban and fought the Soviets.)
