Migration has increasingly become a global hot potato. In South Africa, battles have entered previously unchartered territory, as the state pushes back against migration-related litigation. This comes after the Constitutional court imposed personal cost orders against the Home Affairs Minister and his Director General and barred their lawyer from claiming any fees for the case.

Joining me for this discussion is South Africa's Minister of the Home Affairs Department, Dr. Aaron Motsoaledi.
