I agree. I just watched this second video and I think he is strong as an ox. I wondered why he had more than one urine tube... the explanations are so informative too. Listening to you both, al I could think of how super intelligent, responsive, young but wise beyond your.years. Sad you have to explain anything to anyone. I appreciate how you are handling the comments to help educate us through your tremendous journey. Something I want to pass onto you is my best friend was t-boned by a dump truck. She wasn’t supposed to live, although she survived she didn’t know anyone. After 15 months she passed. Her husband said even though she doesn’t know I’m here, I could be with her every day to touch her, kiss her. I didn’t understand how he could feel the way he did. This is what I see when I see you being there only for Loren. You are his rock, and he is an exceptional man. I think every day what an inspiration you both are. Everyone tells you this, because we don’t know if we could be as strong as you both are. My granddaughter was born blind, and she’s 42 now. I’m inspired every day of her strength, and faith. I will be forever grateful for you including us in your future stories.

Unfortunately, workmans comp law suits can take years to settle in these circumstances. He is going to have medical bills for life that other insurances won't pay for (ex colostomy bags). So if it takes 5 years to settle, then they have to pay for everything in the meantime. Plus he can no longer work. He is really young and may not qualify for ssdi.

@@Kate-jk6pf he can work again. There are several jobs that he could do. With today's medical advances, he'll get prosthetic legs and arm. He still has one good arm. No brain injury. Come on. Obviously this kid has mental strength that neither me or you have. Lorens story really hits home for me. I dated a guy for two years when I lived in AZ that lost his leg in a dirt bike accident at the sand dunes. It was severed all the way up to the hip basically. You two are studs...handling this whole situation with dignity and positivity in ways that many others wouldn’t. A Go Fund Me account makes so much sense in this situation...those that question it are buttheads. Keep up the inspiration...people need to see how easy their lives are comparatively! @@Ithaca-vv5dy the reason the accident happened was because a car ran a red light that leads to a one lane because of construction. And the traffic was was being directed by the lights on each end so one side would go and then the other ... he drove the fork lift off the road in fear of the car hitting him on the side where it is an open area where you get on and off the fork lift and killing him... the driver that ran the red light didn’t actually hit the forklift just made him take an evasive action

Sabia, your hair ALWAYS looks great! I love your French braids, too when you wear them and wish that I could get my own hair into 2 that look as good and even as yours do. I can't get over the both of your guys' attitude and outlook on life despite how much your lives and future has changed now. If/whenever I start feeling a bit down about a couple of things that I too have lost that drastically changed the way my life would have very likely turned out otherwise, I basically just keep what Loren says about not focusing on what you can't have and instead redirect your mind to the more positive things that you do still have and can do and achieve!

Its sincerely hurts my heart to hear that you have to explain and justify why you guys started a #gofundme page. Based on your response, I can tell you're second thinking your decision to start one/advertised it. But let me go on the record by saying YOU GUYS ABSOLUTELY MADE THE RIGHT DECISION AND YOU ABSOLUTELY DO NOT HAVE TO JUSTIFY IT. You both have enough to focus on. The LAST thing you need is to stress about money! Every person in this world navigate life based on money. money is the number one stress that ppl face and what holds ppl back from being able to do things that they need to do. Even if you had been given a million dollar settlement for your tragedy I'd still participate in donating what I can to make sure from this point out you both had every opportunity to be the best versions of yourself and live as normal as possible. Money is just a digital number on a screen and if we can increase that number for you guys to be able to focus on what's important and given you guys an opportunity to experience all the we take for granted then I'm all in. What people do not realize is unfortunately your lives have forever changed. Loren will have to continue to work extremely hard at doing things we (we as in the ppl that have all our limbs still) take for granted everyday. And I donating what I can to help give you guys peace of mind then you better believe I'm all in. Sorry to go off on a tangent there but my heart sank to hear you have to justify a go find me page. I used to be in a wheelchair, im disabled, so i gave my power chair to a guy that was a quad and his got stolen. I can barely walk but like you ive figured out ways to deal with what i need. You guys rock and i found this channel yesterday, march 24th, 2021. My legs are numb, neuropathy, i kinda know what phantom pain is, from when i had feeling. You are so lucky you have her in yur life for support and companionship. Great story, coming out of tragedy. Inspirational.

Ive been disabled my whole life and have had few issues dating, even got married once and my disability isnt the reason they ended, so their are good ppl that look past it. In this guys case, its a better story since he became disabled during the courtship time, most would have walked away,mi think

I can remember being close to your ages, I'm 41 now. You've both reinforced my faith in the youth of today and humans in general.
