Well, at least their birth was a stitch in time! Sounds like their mom was really 'threading' a fine line that day. I guess you could say their dad was 'ripped' apart by the situation! Their mom's revenge was a 'sew' much to handle!... .. my sincere apologies for the people who had to read that.

Seam rippers are god sends for people like me who L O A T H tags, the only issue is how most nowadays are sewed into the regular sewing seams so by removing tags fully you also are technically damaging your clothes. But it’s worth it for a now having the feeling of a tag on your back or thigh.

I use a seam ripper as a sort of glue aplicator. I use super glue in steadnof proper model glue and because its not really a "precision aplication device" i pjt some glue onto my desk (that has a cardboard cover) amd use the seam ripper as a sirt of precision glue brush. It works surprisingly well.

Oh, oof...that last comment about finding the tumblr post on pinterest...I remember the days when posts used to circulate warning people to look out for their posts being stolen and reposted on pinterest boards and other places. Because it's technically plagiarism and theft of someone's intellectual property to repost like that instead of just reblogging it on tumblr like it was supposed to be. There is a big difference between reposting and reblogging. Reblogging is how the hellsite works. It's what you're meant to do, and still gives credit to the original poster. Reposting without permission is theft. And plenty of people still do it. It's worse now with all the bots and AI shit going on, too, of course,

Interesting story but nah if someone sabotages my clothes, they're out and I don't care what state they're in when it happens. That's all shit I paid for with my money and I'm not sticking around to see if they're going to be cool down the line or start seeing what other things they can subtly destroy, throw out, or sell without my knowledge.

Destroying others' belongings as an act of vengeance is toxic and should not be encouraged.

True. This post always bothered me, tbh, because it’s like… doing that to someone’s CLOTHES especially ensures they’re going to get humiliated in some way. I don’t care how angry you are, if you decide to do that to someone (I don’t know OP’s dad but he doesn’t sound abusive), I… yeah, no. That’s gross.

I think what the poster means is that it ended up on *their* tumblr. A post may exist on tumblr and you will never find it. The search bar barely functions. The only way people can ever find posts is if someone they follow posts/reblogs it. So you may see screenshots of a post on other platforms for years before ever coming across it on the site. It's just a quirk of Tumblr.
