I felt so sad and sorry for the young girl when she asked, “Are you testing me?” She didn’t realize that she would be lied to by the person if they were part of Coventry. Real police wouldn’t let the door swing back on them; they’d enter so fast the door wouldn’t have a chance. If I were on a jury, I would question getting fingerprints from a photograph.

From my experience it really depends. If the person is a trained forensic interviewer, gender is a non issue. However there are victim advocates who are overwhelmingly female who are there to support the child victim and be there to offer comfort while not messing up the investigation. Again it varies. I once had a case where i was called out to interview the children 13 times. So no matter my training, those poor kids would cry every time they saw me. So a male investigator was the right call in that moment. There is a lot of nuance involved and thinking in your feet with regards to child safety.

Good episode, although very sad. This is when Double Jeopardy shouldnt count. Kids acted great too. Crazy though seeing Sabrina Carpenter in this, I believe this was one of her biggest roles many years ago and now shes touring. That girl has a voice. She went from small KZbin channels to shows like this to "Girl Meets World" and now onto singing. Shes supposes to be in Columbus,Ohio starting her tour soon.

Keep in mind that as uncomfortable as it is to see children act like they’ve been assaulted, there are real kids who have, and the actors on this show have done a lot of good work to bring awareness and resources to victims and their families, as well as preventative measures to keep future kids safe.
