Sorry to see her go. I also bought an adult female E murinus and I'm on year 2 and she has had one molt so far. She is great & always comes out as soon as night time shows up! Impressive to see all that webbing from the young one after only a few weeks. Best of luck with the new one!

So sorry to hear, she was one of my absolute favourites, she introduced me to the species and made it one of my favourites. For the baby maybe Coraline or Emily (from the Corpse Bride). Seems fitting also that you used my little Bonnie at the end, I lost her not long ago and she was one of my first jumping spiders, it was a hard one to loose.

Oh no! So sorry for your loss Kat. She was definitely one of my favorites, I loved the bone, and the amazing way she webbed up the enclosure. She will truly be missed. I’ve been off work today. So I’m binge watching all your videos. Hopefully going to an expo next weekend to get my first spider. All because of your channel! Starting out with a jumping spider. Hoping to find Phiddipus Regius at the expo. Going to ease my husband into it with a small jumper, and then maybe later on down the road he will let me get a tarantula. I discovered your channel about a 2 months ago since I just got into the hobby. I'm so sorry for your loss, she was beautiful. I just had to put my 2 year old Campbell hamster Tabitha to sleep. She had a second stroke through the night and I knew she wasn't able to recover this time and that she was suffering....it was a long terrible night until I could get her to the Vet...it sucks so much losing any family member.

I'm very sorry you lost your old girl, she was beautiful and I'm sure will feature fondly in your memories. Watching your rehousing made me feel much better about my own rehouse troubles, I hope it's okay to say xD I also think it's beneficial to showcase 'best practice' wherever possible, particularly in small or niche hobbies that people hold a lot of misconceptions or misgivings around. At minimum, a large and clear surface area (ideally in a contrasting colour to the T), a (ideally, *separate* :P) debris bin for containing old substrate or decor, and a couple of tweezer and brush options to hand, are all things that should really be used in rehousing. If its a species often described as 'quick' or 'flighty' a contained bin is perfect!
