snoozedoctor original. Testing out a new Squire Strat that you hear in the background. "Rainy days, seven in a row..." will do it to you. Wrote this maybe 20 years ago during one of those dreary stretches. Looking forward to Spring, warmer temps and flowers in bloom! Cheers everyone.

Mark this tune is so fine. Touching the heart with the reality of how weather can sew affect us. I came to this area thinking there would be plenty of snow and I'll be darned if it's only dusted maybe one time in the 2 years I've been here. But it rains as much as living in Seattle. And it will be bitterly cold for days and then the precipitation moves in but instead of snow it's dreary rain. But enough of that my friend. Chris invited me to sing with this band he was playing with and I do about half the tunes of what we've rehearsed. I do the kind of Daltry voice, but these guys are so phenomenal that it is a joy. I'm primary voice on about five tunes and do Harmony on about four or five others but it is good to be playing with good people again and to have them enjoy what I can let's just say belt. The bass player asked me what kind of music I like that I told an English folk music like Sandy Denny haha But this sad song acronym SAD. Is a joy to listen to even though it touches deep places in the heart you are becoming such a great singer Mark I think it's wonderful

Thanks man. I wish I was there to hear you guys. I hope someone records some of it. Yeah, we lived through the little Ice Age up in Boone. That stretch through the mid to late 70s was some of the coldest they ever had there. Same out here too. Brutally cold when I first moved here and tons of snow. We haven't had a big dump of snow here in 10 years or so. Had a short spell of really cold weather a few weeks back. About choked when I got my gas bill for January! Ouch!

This morning I had a heavy SAD because it was dark, foggy, rainy and my 60th birthday. I went out in the forest near my house and up to a hill. When I was on the top the sun came out - and then I saw the bird, we call in german "Milan". It's a big bird of pray who disapears in winter. When the Milan comes back from the south we know spring is beginning. So I was very happy about seeing the bird. Dear Snoozedoctor, I wish the Milan will fly over the channel to Great Britain and brings You a wonderful spring, too - in which you can test out Your Squire Strat with more of those beautiful songs like SAD.

Thanks so much! There's always a rainbow out there somewhere. Yeah, the Strat. My wife volunteers at a thrift store and she brought home this $25 Squire that someone had decided to paint the pick guard and pickups in neon colors. Hideous. It has a good neck so I ordered one of those prewired pick guards. Easy to install and sounds great! Cheers!

Nice tune snoozy. I’m betting you played all of the back up parts as well. Keep on rocking. I’ll watch every one of them. But I think I missed one or two videos while you were on your world trek a few weeks ago.

Thanks! yeah, I have much fun creating the backing track. I wished I played drums but I have to rely on a drum machine.
