Richard I'm so so sorry to hear that your dad has passed away. but I would like to say he must be so proud to have you as a son as your very loving and caring towards your family and towards the farm. I no the farm is in safe hand knowing you and your brother are still pulling together. I hope your keep your head up him and be proud of the man your father made you as most farms are around if the sin or daughter follow in the foot steps. also if I was you leave it a couple weeks and come back with your videos when your ready . stay strong and if you ever need a hand I will come from Cornwall and give you a hand. cheers from sam in sunny Cornwall

i never knew ou or your dad but i can tell both you and him are amazing people ... and with your dad ittle never be was an amazing person becuase even as he is now he is an amazing person to have survived on a dairy farm for as long as he has and then for you to take it on (i presume) is amazing. im sorry for your loss and hope jack harry you and your wife and any other family members are all as ok as you can be at this sad time. to keep his memory if i was you i would have something put up in his memory or restore a tractor he loved and take to to shows to keep him alive for amny many years to come. love the videos man love your keeping the farm going and more power to you in these tough times

Hi Richard, I'm really sorry to hear about your Dad :( I remember the video you made of him chopping the wood and explaining how to go round the log and split it with the grain. I used that technique to split my own wood after that, so i learnt something from him thru your videos...Im sure he was a very knowledgeable and interesting man. take care of yourself

sorry to hear about your dad. I lost my father after he just turned 50 in 2008. Me being 27 at the time and had taken over the farm just 3 years with my jounger brother. But you never get over that you don't have the older generation to ask for advice and you will never forget them wen you're walking the fields they made from scratch.Take one day at a time life vill smile at you again.
