Hey Charlie, the problem with the corner of the wall comes down to a rendering soft block. The problem usually occurs due to many higher end pc’s having multiple cores and multiple threads. The textures on the wall are then divided amongst the cores, causing an issue where the physical “wall” and the programming for it collide against one another. This puts the player into a soft lock position wherein the wall is impassable. I’ve heard from a couple of sources that a clean restart on the actual game files themselves have helped some people, but it isn’t a proven theory. I’ve had this problem happen to me in a banjoo kazooie speedrun and I know how it can feel. Good luck, and I hope this doesn’t deter you :)

I'd try changing the framerate limit. That tends to screw up collision logic sometimes. Skyrim on original PC release was a buggy disaster at 120fps on my computer in a way that was hilarious

Charlie did you try having your Camera out when you are at that corner that killed the run? It seems like that may have something to do with the coding, where the camera is like a secondary module that didn't get the wall boundaries put in exactly like the wall boundaries that exist in normal/no camera mode. It could've been rushed through, as the camera is a secondary item for the game, and doesn't seem to just turn on a filter/lighting effect and does a second version of playing method for the game. Perhaps you'll be able to crouch with the camera as well, or at least the pressing the button at the time, as the game registers each button hit, and either denies or approves the action as it goes. Your computer is probably strong enough to run an emulator for a console version too. Just try having your camera out, see if it allows the wall boundary/forbidden zones to open between the texture walls. Crouching in the corner while camera is out as well, (if possible) good luck and I hope you save your speedrun with this.

Try changing the refresh rate of your monitor, maybe? It could also be related to your OS, maybe it only works on 32-bit, and not 64-bits, or vice-versa? Does the game speedrun rules allow usage of Virtual Machines? Well, if anything, you could use that, but I don't know if the game will run well. Considering loading times are cut, there's would be no worry in wasting time in loading screens (except IRL time).
