Realizing my identity in Jesus literally saved my life. I was raised by narcissists and the image of which I saw myself did not match how Jesus sees me. Learning the power of relationship with Jesus has been the miracle that has saved my life. I am so excited to be His. I'm getting baptized on July 10th. A new birth certificate. Good point, I have to change my thinking… I too was a child of narcissist which is the spirit of Jezebel… it’s not they fault they were possessed and intern my son had to suffer from my childhood trauma but as you said I am no longer that child I am a child of the most high seated on the right side of Jesus Christ! I came back home in 2015 at the age of 61 to care for my elderly mother. After 6 years mom passed away in her home of over 60 years at the age of 85. I did everything I could to make mom comfortable and make her environment peacefully. Even when it became hard as the 24/7 caregiver, GOD always gave me the strength to keep going. The entire time I was caring for Mom my family members constantly and consistently criticized everything I was doing for Mom. One of my brothers who lived close by treated Mom and me like an ATM machine and when mom passed he immediately started sending me text messages demanding I give him money. The texts have been coming 4 and 5 times a day for over 30 days. Calling me names and threatening that he has an attorney. I can’t even grieve Moms passing for dealing with all the criticism on how I did the funeral and everything I did for mom. I protected and shielded mom from as much negativity that I could. This sermon has blessed me. Thank you Pastor Rick.

Listening to this at work and Pastor you're touching my soul because it's exactly what I thought. I was a victim of rape and I absolutely blamed myself and said there was something so fundamentally wrong with me that I couldn't distinguish between good and bad people and it was my fault - it was because I was broken. Hi Charmaine. Evil is circumstantial and not that simple. 2 Reasons for evil. 1) Evil did not exist before Richard Allen Davis kidnapped 12 year old Polly Klass, on a whim, from her bedroom in front of her slumber party friends. He raped her at a different location and killed her when he was through. 2) The second reason is the "whim", the thought to kidnap her. When this thought entered Richard Allen Davis through impulse, he could not control this impulse's excitement. These impulses and our inability to control them is one of the big problems with humanity. I will say these "impulses" are set into us by god as part of the curse (not the Adam and Eve curse). It's the we are "fallen" before we are born curse that obliterates innocence and who we really are, individuality. This is why Free Will is, never was and never will be available to humanity. Psalm 51:5 - Surely I was sinful at birth, sinful from the time my mother conceived me. The impulses that Otty Sanchez had she could not control when she butchered her three week old son, ate some of his toes and parts of his brain. God is responsible for allowing Otty to be born with this future ahead of her - God, to Christians, is omniscient, so he witnessed Otty cutting into the infant as it was screaming from the initial slices and chops. God was not absent according to Christians. He was present as he watched the Canaanites being butchered. Is God willing to stop evil, but unable? Then he is not powerful (god). Is he able, but unwilling? Then he is not good. Is he both able and willing? Then how can there be evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God? Epicurus (February 341 BC - 270 BC)

Pastor Rick .. thanks for this message. I'm currently experiencing a traumatic experience now. I just broke up with my bf. He broke up with me last Monday but before that we had series of fights and we always tell each other to break up. Today i told him I accepted his discussion. But its so painful because I built this bubble world that we have future together. 2 weeks ago he told me (after almost 2 yrs in the relationship) that he does not want to have kids and no plans of settling down. My world shattered but I still choose to be with him. Last weekend we had another fight. Monday he broke up with me. We still talk from Tues and Wed. Come Thursday I just texted him to say that I've accepted his discussion and that I want to move on. I feel its unfair that I ended in text (though he broke up last monday). Every time we talk after the fight I end up always feeling guilty because he always says that its always my fault. .. then I will patch up with him and saying sorry with guilt. Now I decided to just text him and disable my fb msgr... and move on. I know he loves me but I'm so traumatized every time we fight that he always blaming me. I feel that he is manipulating me and I'm hurting. Im feeling lost and broke. Your massage helped me calm down. Thank you.

I am so sorry you are temporarily separated from your youngest son. I had no idea. But I have EVERY understanding of the hellish depression and fear he battled. I don’t know how your son felt spiritually, but I as a 69 year old who thought I was saved all my life now think I am abandoned and doomed to hell. It has been 7 years and I sinned my whole life. Now my eyes are opened and I am broken hearted beyond consolation. I am so ashamed that. I hurt the One that I truly love. I. All day I repent and seek God. I have not found 1 drop, heard anything, felt nothing. The Word condemns me. He is silent. Now I have cancer and must have 2 knees replaced. Is there truly a place where God just says He is finished with your fence riding? I think my mental illness, be it physical, spiritual, or both is a HUGE deterrent. I don’t know how much I can take either. My heart goes out to all the people who suffer from this and to their families who have to endure their hell too.

As much as I love the message, we should never mix up politics with heavenly gospel. Kagame is more than controversial. He was re-elected in August 2017 with an official result of nearly 99% in an election criticized for numerous irregularities. So Love is a free choice and evil cannot be removed from the world because we have free will. Then why is there no evil in Heaven? Is there no free will in Heaven? And if God can bring us to Heaven where we freely choose to love Him, without evil, then why can’t He fix our world?

Free will is what separates us from the Angels. That's why Pastor Warren called it a blessing and a curse. We get to decide how to live our lives and unfortunately some of those decisions are evil. By the way we can go to Heaven. We just have to accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior. Also as pastor Warren already stated if God fixed world He'd have to take away our free will which means we can't make the choice to love God. By doing so, we wouldn't have access to heaven.
