Gotta be honest, it doesnt sound that great. It sounds like a weaker stingray. Without the ability to cut the treble it seems very unappealing. It sounded much better in passive mode so maybe a lot of that is the preamp. Seems like it would have been better with a traditional Sadowsky VTC preamp. My humble opinion only

The highs sound kinda terrible on this, even with the treble all the way down. Andy should also try and play some examples closer to the neck. Playing so far back near the bridge all the time really makes a difference in the tone.
