I was diagnosed in September with Mast Cell after having numerous triggers and issues with my blood pressure, breathing, and horrible gastric issues. 75 pokes and blood tests later, no real allergies even though my body swears it’s allergic to everything. I found you before and never thought you would be someone I relate to so much. I deal with little episodes of paresis...it’s awful. I also sent back my patch last week for the Dysautonomia (POTS) so waiting on that official word. Anyway, you’re not alone is all I meant. And you inspire me so much to stay strong. 💕

I have Mast Cell Activation Syndrome. I was getting a lot of reactions until I went "old school" on what touches my sink. My skincare routine consists of homemade soap with castile soap, honey, and oil (I also use this for shampoo), witch hazel (astringent), and apricot or olive oil (moisturizer). I use soap nuts/berries for laundry soap, White Vinegar for the softener, and dryer balls. I alternate using homemade hand soap and hand sanitizer (doctor's orders). Also, alternate using Armer Hammer Baking Soda deodorant and Apple Cider Vinegar for deodorant. I looked for a couple years for info on this kind of stuff for Mast Cell Activation/Allergies and didn't find anything. I had to figure this out on my own. Thanks for your video!!!

Great video Amy! Ever since I heard you first mention MCA I started to do some research into it since I'd never heard of it before & genuinely wanted to understand it and how it affects the person. While looking & researching I came across a video of a woman who had it so badly that her husband had a special house made for her so that her air was filtered out so that no outside contaminates could get to her. Her husband couldn't even be in the same room with her as she had become allergic to him. The only way he could see her or speak to her was over video chats. Only 3 people were "safe" (as you mentioned, with MCA there is never really a safe thing since you never know if something you ate/drank 2 hours ago was fine, the next time you try it, it could potentially cause anaphylaxis) enough that they would be the only ones able to bring her food in, help her do certain things that she wasn't capable of. There was special laundry soap, no one elses clothes could be put in with hers because it meant a possible anaphylactic reaction. If she did have an anaphylactic episode, the car trip to the hospital for treatment could also kill her because she's being exposed to so many things that she doesn't get exposed to at home. I thought that you had a pretty severe case of MCA with the way you describe how you have to manage it and try staying as protected as possible, and I'm not at all trying to compare you to her as "oh, she's sicker" or "I bet she was just too lazy to go in" ect ect ect, but rather, I wanted to tell you about there being someone else out there that has it. You are truly someone who I admire for your bravery, compassion, and overall genuine personality. I really really really do hope that things start moving along for you, and that some of the bigger things that you've been struggling with (like your gastroparesis) begin to start improving, or at the very least, that nothing gets worse/nothing new comes up. I'm always keeping you in my thoughts & I know that things are going to start getting better. I really like Native deodorant, not only do they all smell really nice, they last a long time before needing to reapply it & like you said, it's aluminum free, cruelty free, and it is a lot safer than most other top brands.

I get sticking to certain products that do not bother you. I have celiacs disease along with allergies. Thankfully they have never gone past needing benadryl for a rash or eczema, it is just really uncomfortable when everything is dry and itchy. The brands for me that have helped a lot are vanicream, native deodorant is so far the only one that has not given be a rash, and Tom's of Maine toothpaste. I also have switched to just using argon oil at times to moisturize my skin and it has been amazing. The uncommon one that I get really dry skin from is aloe, this has actually lead to skin infections from it peeling and bleeding.

I know I say this every video, & I know I'm speaking for everyone here when I say how loved you are & how truly appreciative we are that you are always so open & honest with us about what you go through & how you handle your illnesses & doctors. You go far & above when sharing personal info that could be embarrassing but you do it for us & yes some may think it's to much but others like myself rather hear & learn, even take tips from someone who goes through what I am or similar & let's face it doctors don't know how it feels or what things truly do/don't work unless the doctor themselves go through what we do. I truly appreciate you, respect you & love you like a long distant relative (I live in the US in Texas) I don't get to see in person. You are amazing, brave & strong. I also wanted to reassure you that what you do matters so much to so many & remind you how much you are loved and appreciated for all you do and share. @shadowfigure37495 жыл бұрын
It is actually very possible. It is done by several people I know and has been done by myself in the past. Some pills are time released or extended released and should never be crushed but there is really no reason vitamins can't. It's a very simple solution. They even make liquid vitamins just for feeding tubes so you don't have to crush pills, but that doesn't make for interesting content does it?!
