This is what we use to mark white or very pale fabric without the worry of having chalk marks rubbing and transferring to other panels.
The Pilot Frixion pens ink disappears when heat is applied, you can use a heat gun, hairdryer, or an iron to make your reference marks quickly fade away.

I use these all the time, but if y ou need to iron a seam you're int troutble because it disappears. If you don't need heat you're good to go, but for everything I do, I use an iron!

Yes that can be a pain if you forget about it 😄, we tend to make notches for reference points when we want them to be permanent

Frixion pens are great except when it gets cold they come back.

That’s interesting, how cold did you find it had to be for it to come back? We’ve been pretty cold in the UK recently and it hasn’t been a problem yet but would be good to know so we can test it

According to Frixion it’s -10C/ 14F. It has happened to quilters who maybe have a wall hanging in an unheated area but sounds like you can just reheat with iron or hairdryer to disappear again

@@tracisass4983 that’s good to know, luckily we don’t really have to deal with those temperatures in the UK and hopefully most people wouldn’t have their homes get that cold
