Which studies please? Link the DOI or references please. My understanding is that it is starch that is coming off the rice, and by soaking it it helps improve texture/ flavor.

I used to be in this position where I would want confirmation from studies and those external to me. Then, I simply became my own study. I'm not sure how the starch can come off the rice when starch is what constitutes a grain of white rice? From my understanding, soaking the rice helps to leech the antinutrients and pesticides/herbicides into the water (and then rinse) so you can eliminate most of the harmful components of one of the most popular foods on the planet 😀

Hello there, and thank you for your question. I don't personally think rice should be eaten as a meal 3 times a day. Please correct me if I stated this in the video? However, hundreds of millions of people in third World countries only have access to grains and many of them thrive in very challenging conditions.
