Safest Hurricane Hole In The Caribbean? (Bonus)

There will be a full episode released this evening at 6. I was messing around with the drone earlier this morning and decided to put a short birds eye view compilation of Luperon together.
Now on my 3rd drone in a matter of 6 weeks, with the help of Adventureman Dan (THANK YOU SO MUCH!), I took far more time on land to learn how to properly use it. And I won’t fly it off the boat for quite a while. This is a cheap, beginners level drone. I have a fancy DJI coming next week, so it’s imperative that I figure out how to fly them.
Anyway, I was just out messing around this morning and wanted to share some views from where I am, in Luperon, DR.
Other than Grenada, Luperon is considered the 2nd best place to be during hurricane season. Although with the Grenadines just being leveled earlier this week (😭), maybe Luperon is the best choice?

Thank you so much! I’m getting more confident with the drone. Fortunately I had somewhat of an expert who spent some time with me and taught me some learning maneuvers to practice. I’m having a ton of fun with it. Can’t wait to get the DJI next week, which will have far better video quality. That round trip passage to Florida was no fun at all!! Once I was back in Georgetown, I was able to breathe a sigh of relief. I spent time n the Marines, but no Delta Force for me. 🤣

Thank you so much! ❤️ I very rarely have it down. I should really save myself the hassle and chop it off. Be so much easier! You enjoy that ditch! I’ve not spent much time in the ICW. For the 20 or so miles I was in it, I bottomed out 3 times. Got super irritated and went outside at Daytona. Least your draft isn’t like a sailboat. I can imagine the ditch is much better with a motorboat.
