So the story goes ~ Both Heath and Jake were well aware that their film was nominated. While IN the audience, and seeing each nominated movie's lead actors present their film, they both looked at eachother and asked, "Who is presenting our film?" and they were told at last minute that it was their turn to go up. When they went up, they were unprepared and nervous. It seemed silly to speak of themselves so highly. What they presented was genuine. Absolutly Amazing and REAL!

I was just looking through other interviews, and he said the reason why he acted that way was because they were only given the script minutes before they had to go out, so they had to read it off the teleprompter and they both were caught off guard and basically thrown in the deep end. He said that's why he giggled a lot throughout. I thought it was so cute how he got through an awkward moment. That's how we Aussies get through stuff like that, we make jokes about things. He is such an Aussie!:)
