Tbh with the mystery of Lost River dlc map, oversized and undersized wolves etc probably wouldn't be that unlikely, so if they could get such "mutations" in game it'd probably be restricted to that map. Fictional world after all, and they have Floppy there so... why not?

@@femratxz Good God, I still remember the 2.5 version and that damn double crossing river because the wolf pack living nearby wouldn't let us pass through solid ground. The first section was all good and fine, very easy to cross through, but the second part? It was hell; you almost had to do math to be able to cross safely each time without the pups drowning It was a relief and it felt so gooooood when I finally managed to get a much easier and almost guaranteed safe path through the second section, I really felt like a veteran then

Appreciate the attention to detail your team puts into every aspect of this game. I don't think 90% of players would have noticed or cared if this game didn't have Accurate Wolf Pissing, but you made sure it had The Most Accurate Possible Wolf Pissing regardless. Just a note, since it wasn't called out. It would make sense for pups to be cautious the first time with water, but after a few successful crossings, they should lose our lessen their fear. A "memory" system with different environmental dangers and enemies could be cool - a pup swept downstream might have a harder time in the future with water. A pup almost carried off by a hawk or bear might have extra fear from them in the future.

Hey, I have a question. So, I have to read Rick Mcintyre's amazing books about the wolves of Yellowstone. (I highly recommend them). Anyway, as I was reading 'Rise of Wolf 8' I noticed that some of the wolf packs would have a couple litters in a single year, one with the lead female and one with a subordinate female, both litters being fathered by the lead male. Obviously, this wouldn't work if the lead male was the subordinate's father. But say the old lead male died, so the new one is new blood, perhaps he could mate with a subordinate and his new mate, the alpha female. He could do this for several years, maybe with different subordinates, as long as he is unrelated to them. I saw that one pack in this book had 3 litters one year! But I think 3 litters would be a lot. I have learned that the pack would most likely keep both litters at the same den and rendezvous, sometimes they don't, but often they are together, or at least very close to one another. I think this could be an interesting touch. Of course, this would only be doable with some subordinates, so after a couple years you have formed the pack. This could be interesting I think, and it would be fun in the game. And you would have yearlings to help out with both litters. This wouldn't have to happen every year, and obviously its fine if you devs can't add this or don't want too just wandering!

I'm curious since some of the coats come with scars, ear notches, broken/missing tails, and other permanent injuries being a thing will a scarring system be implemented so if a pup or adult wolf gets a injury they'll potentially end up with a scar or one of the body modifiers?

To Wolfquest Developers, Are you going to ever add humans to wolfquest? I mean for example: in HellRoaring Mountain or Lost River to have some road where cars pass in real time. If you cross in front of a car some cars stop others just honk and hit you if they are going too fast to stop. It would be a new challenge to people crossing the map to go to rendezvous sites.
