The Sensationals were a fabulous band. Highly entertaining on stage. I particularly liked how humour was always part of their show.

Met Ted mckenna in Monklands hospital 15 years ago. I'm now in my 60s.i was living it large. Booze. Coke.excess in life. Chance meet.cant remember who he was with at that time. Rory gallagher/shenker. Can't remember. He took me aside and took me apart. He saved my life to enjoy my kids and grandkids. Lots of luv to all the mkenna family. X

I think I may have seen this band in Mpls, Mn in 74 or 75 they were having issues with the audio and didnt play very long. Yes it was them I remember the name now. Missing brain cells and all, I dont remember who they opened for maybe Deep Purple.

They were great but I just think they were far too eclectic to be a megga band. I loved Faith Healer and listened for more of the same. There wasnt any. Zal Cleminson recently said pretty much the same thing in an interview.
