Another excellent video. Like yourselves, my heart went out to the owners on the wrecked catamaran on the rocks. Seeing you all there, looking at what remains of the deck and hull, reminded me of how a herd of elephants will stop and linger around the carcass of another elephant when they come across it in the wild. Like you must have been feeling, I think they must also have mixed emotions of empathy for the lost, fear of what destroyed it, respect for nature, and gratitude to still be among the living.

Very entertaining, and, brings back memories. I scuba dived at Saba. Really wonderful diving, though I didn't care for those running the dive shop. And hiking on Saba is taxing. St Barth's too, though I just snorkeled here, and spent time on the wonderful beaches.

I was just on Saba by air and ferry a couple weeks ago. Also left feeling that the island had touched a very special place rarely seen in the Caribbean. Thanks for sharing. Your video captured it from a very realistic beautiful view.

Then they must have had what is called a "Vrijbrief" ⬅Dutch Royal "carte blanc" so to speak (Give the crown 50% of the booty) otherwise he's tale is a bit big, because the Dutch VOC and Navy were quite proficient in Hanging Pirate's especially in the Caribbean back then. Do you ever get nervous leaving your boat at anchor when you explore the islands, as in either the anchor could drag or potential robbery? Love your videos!

Yes sometimes and in Saba we were nervous that the mooring line would shafe or something like that. It's pretty common there so they recommed not to leave the boat unattended for more than a couple of hours.

As Laurent Froggy already mentioned your probably the first vlog on Saba. Try to do more new places. I Think definatly it will attract new Viewers. Look at Delos visiting Chagos Archipelago and St Brandon in Agalega & St Brandon - nobody pretty much filmed there Before and their views and new subscribers increased Heavy after those visits. I know your not in the area at the momen but I hope that you did a visit to St Eustatius in next episode. Now when your in PR you can try to get a permit to visit Desecheo Island, it is difficult to get the approval but why not try. This is one of the Worlds uninhabited and never visited islands and it is just in the Backyard of PR. There is also Another Island a bit further out called Navassa. Few people go there as well. If you want to apply a permit to go on land you can do that at the US department of justice, Fish and wildlife Service for both islands. If you just want to anchor to scuba or snorkel it is fine to do that without permission. Thank you again for a great episode. Cheers from Falköping
