I’m sorry for the loss and pain you’re experiencing. We lost our second daughter 2 hours after her birth 31 years ago. The pain of the loss diminishes with time but never leaves. Just understand that when your life has reached the end years from now that there’s a little angel waiting to welcome you home!

Hope your wife has found a way to manage her condition and live her life as full as possible,...stress is a huge trigger for me (Laura) so I try to do things that release stress and at the same time not let too much get to me which was one of the hardest things about this process...I knew it could cause me a massive flare up so I just had to sink inside my own grief and deal with it calmly and internally so that it didn't overwhelm completely - and I did ALOT of running/swimming/yoga/SUP to take myself away a little. If we had shared this experience publicly at the time it happened I think the stimulatory effect of the attention would have actually been difficult and I would definetly have suffered with Fibro more intensely. Lastly I tried really hard to make sure that when I truly needed to cry I did it openly so the boys didn't think I was a robot but also once I'd let it out I would go back to being boss-mum and pick myself back up so they could see I can also be strong in my struggle. Sending huge love to you and especially your wife xxx
