What fun! I lived in Hawaii for a while when I went to the School of Public Health in Manoa. And I remember those mystical foggy clouds that would come and go. And I remember the almost 100% humidity at times. I even remember the smell of the plumeria flower that was in Terysa's hair. So thanks guys for all the memories haha. And that was definitely a kick butt hike!

Ok... I am update with you guys. It’s been a semi marathon over the last 3 weeks or so. Really enjoying your story telling, editing and personalities. I’m a none sailor, for now, but I’ve been thinking and dreaming about it for 10 years. I’m now in the process of buy a small boat to learn on, 26’ MacGregor. Y'all made a mess out of that mountain trail sliding down it on your asses, although with the rain there wasn't much of a choice. It's a shame you didn't have a better day, Sailing Nahoa climbed the trail all the way to the top mind you, and had spectacular views of the surrounding area. The view from the top on a clear day is very inspiring. I will admit that the rainy day perspective added a bigger hint of danger of sliding off the mountain, that trail is very narrow. Thanks for y'all's amazing perspective of the trail on a dismal or rainy day. I wonder how many people have had to be rescued from the summit of this trail, due to injuries, or other problems.

We so enjoyed your hike. In 2000 we took our youngest with us to Moorea and Bora Bora. In Moorea we stayed at cottages that were at the far end of Cook's Bay. Google now shows that resort is no longer, it pretty much was where the Fish Market is today. We enjoyed the view from the bottom every day 😉

We just hiked up to a friends apartment in Kas, Turkey. Only 100 fairly steep steps, but it made us realise how unfit we are.
