I felt such an adrenaline of childhood nostalgia when I first saw this ad. Even my 2 year old has been addicted to this song ever since. Shows that us 80s 90s kids had such an amazing childhood.

I remember seeing this advert on TV and I also remember the theme tune to Round The Twist. I didn't expect them to use that song for this advert. "Have you ever... ever felt like this."

My 1 year old daughter LOVES this advert. She's stops everything she's doing to watch it and dance. Ironic since her dad loved the TV show and found the theme tune catchy!

They ripped off nothing - it's the same song. That's like saying a movie rips of a song by having it in its soundtrack.

I don't view them like that. I understand that it is very likely that they are going by the idea that "nostalgia sells", but that's the thing - it does. They could do a lot worst, and I think it's a nice bonus that they bring back childhood memories for people during their adverts. Hell, I didn't even grow up with He-man (though I had some of the toys), yet I love the Moneysupermarket advert, because I love the idea of people who watched it getting reminded of it (the advert itself is nostalgic to me - it is 2017 Nostalgic for me, but that is the beautiful thing about nostalgia - it comes in all shapes and forms.) I just think it's nice to see things that you could know being brought back, and I love that adverts are doing this. I don't care why they're doing it (it could be because it's easy to attract attention with our memories or it could be because *they* are nostalgic for these shows too), I just know I like it. Hell, you know whether or not you want to buy from the company or not - so just look at the positive side, and enjoy being reminded of things that you grew up with, assuming you did. I loved Round the Twist growing up, and I was happy to hear this music in an advert. Did I need the advert to remember the show? No. It was just a nice bonus. That's how I feel about this anyway, but ultimately I respect it if you feel different.
