I liked Spencer this game and juwan johnson shudda caught that ball. Idk about yall but rizzi might be a good coach. He's attentive in moments that counts, he's has an usfl talented team fighting to win, his decision making isnt that bad, I love the going for 2 call. If you put talented around him, he can get the talent to perform. Keep rizzi mainly due to the fact that no other coach that's worth anything wants to deal with our salary cap

I think it is likely that entering a losing game late might allow qbs to play better. You know that if you lose, well they were gonna lose anyway. If you win, my goodness you're a hero. There's almost no downside, and in a strange way, no real pressure. Almost pure upside aside from injuries. Without the fear or pressure, it enables a player to get "in the zone" much easier, quite likely. The key is to be able to access the zone even with the pressure and stuff on you, which might take some mental work. But actually doing the movements and working through everything, gaining experience goes a long way imo. Basically, playing with nothing to lose. Haener seemed to voice this opinion, but the fact he had to vocalize it could be an indication that he really had conflicting thoughts and was trying to will himself into this state of mind, which would prove he wasn't in said state. In the same press conference he even pointed out this could be his last time on a field, so it was clear there truly was something to lose. Haener has had really good practices from what the reporters have said, but I think he was probably not in a good state of mind to play his best.

@KermitTFYT It's not really cope, it's more of an exploration of the mentality behind playing. It's an expansion of what James was saying about how Spencer was probably comfortable. Rattler definitely earned himself the start if Carr can't go. I hope he can tap into a state of mind that is in "the zone" effortlessly, and this game may go a long way to do that in his development.
