Yeah having more sandbox games like this and zelda on the switch is only a good thing. But for £35 this game is just not worth that. I got it on steam for £3, and I don't think I'd pay more than £15 or so based on its quality. Its not as good as the PS2 GTA games in terms of going around causing chaos.

Just bought it and excited to play! I can't believe GTA hasn't been ported to the Switch, and I feel they will be soon, and Saints Row people knew it, so they rushed out their port before GTA is announced at E3 in June. GTAV would make absolute bank if they released a Switch version, so there is no reason not to. However, until then, this seems like a really fun game to hold me over!

People use clone far too loosely. GTA is GTA because of its story and how the world is structured. Saints Row is what it is because of how batshit insane some of the story is. I mean even the first two games had some insane moments such as a AK-47 wielding stripper in the first game (Tanya) and a gang full of pot smoking hippies who try to kill you by getting you high (Sons of Samedi). GTA and Saints Row are very different, maybe similar in premise but different in execution. Clones are carbon copies. Look on the IOS store and see how many GTA clones there are (Grab That Auto 5).

The Third was where it hit it's decline for me, I enjoyed that Saints never took itself too serious but going from the general craziness of SR2 to flat out silliness of SR3 was too much too soon. It was a great series that could have rivaled GTA, even going as far as to be a parody of what GTA is/was in the gaming community, but outstayed it's welcome by the fourth game turning the once tongue in cheek GTA spoof into an over the top superhero vs aliens game with Saints row plastered on it.

My problem with the game is that they left out my personal favorite DLC: The Bloodsucker pack. I enjoyed being able to suck my enemies blood, and gain back my health, then quickly grabbing another enemy to do the same.

It may seem buggy on the Switch, but what people are forgetting is the earlier ports were just as buggy. I can recall several glitches and lockups happening when I first tried it out. Never stopped me form playing.

I absolutely LOVE the Saints Row series !! I have and played all 4 on both PS and Xbox. And today is actually the first I heard about 3 being on the Switch...and I was excited !! I can’t wait to pick it up :) my only hope is that they release the other 3 on the Switch as well :)

Agree gta is great flood level watered down clone of saints row even by gta v standards. Has better customisation and has customization of everything better storylines more weapons.... basically more of everything! There is even crib customization on level that gta would wish to have. Gta sa tried to have character customisation but the effort was so poor as it didnt last and it became a chore...

You forgot to mention the bigger issue, no analog triggers. Cars either go full speed or they don't go on the switch. Kinda sucks but still playable with some minor adaptation of your play style. The performance can be fixed with an overclock, assuming you have a modded switch. I believe they fixed it in the patch though idk because I usually do play with overclock

There's this stigma that any openworld crime game is a "clone" of GTA. I have a problem with this because if you've played the first two SR games you'll know that they clearly have their own identity. GTA wasn't even the first of it's kind to utilize the 3d open world crime setting, R* just happened to perfect it. So explain to me how calling these games clones is correct?

They then looked up inventory for 2 other stores. 1 said they had 1 in stock and the other said 0. I called the 0 stock store and said they had one for display.
