that's a bucket list thing for me,loved Queen since the 70's,was gutted when Freddie passed away. Walking the hallowed halls of Mountainland Music Studio would be emotional for me as well,I'd no doubt be crying like a crazy person. You're awesome,ty for the upload.

Hi Sally, you really must go back to experience Montreux during one of Freddie's birthday parties. I went there in 2015 and 16 for Freddie's 69th and 70th birthday parties and they really were the greatest experiences of my life. Imagine your day there with 1000's of other Queen fans equally as passionate as you, sharing stories, breaking into spontaneous singalongs, chatting with Phoebe or Jim, doing the boat tour and making friendships that will last the rest of your life! The night before the 69th party my son Freddie (oh yes I did!) and I gathered at the statue for one such singalong with people of 17 different nationalities from across the world - totally awesome, totally emotional and totally Magical! I think every Queen fan who is able should save and aim to be at the 75th birthday party in 2021 (plenty of time to save guys) and make that the best party ever!! Totally get your emotion, love the vids x P.S. Are you going to the Premiere on the 23rd?

just ran across this. Ok I am late. But I am retiring this year and said I need to go see this Montreux area it looks great, I am a Queen fan and I needed a gift to me for my retirement. I am planning 2021. Let me know what the NOT to miss in that area are and where are you from.? THANKS
@SallyEddy4 жыл бұрын
@@leed119 i'd say if you are a mega Queen fan then the whole studio experience is not to miss as well as the Freddie Mercury statue - myself and my mum only went for two days but it was enough to fill in what was there - there is a boat tour you can do but that's quite expensive and from England
@leed1194 жыл бұрын
@@SallyEddy Oh yes that is first on the list. I will be doing my first oversea trip from Las Vegas. (USA) Hope to stay a good 10 days. I will hate to walk through the casino(being from Vegas) but will do to see the studio. I want to see that area.

That place is magical, I went with the wife a couple of years ago, The museum and the sound desk is a Queen fans dream, afterwards you can get a few drinks at the bar to take it all in. Castle Chillon and Charlie Chaplains house are a must as well, I will go back one day.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us, Sally. You are a lovely person.😊 I'm very very envious of your trip to Montreux! The Queen Studio Experience looks fantastic and I'd love to see the real Freddie statue (I have to content myself with my replica 8" Freddie statue, which I adore!) I'm so pleased you and your Mom got to have this wonderful experience together. Hope you sent Freddie all our love.☺️ Look forward to your next video! Thank You! 😀 Kind Regards Nic

Great video Sally! Always wanted to go. Is it just Mother Love that you can play around with on the mixing desk or any other tracks?
@SallyEddy6 жыл бұрын
There’s four tracks in total - made in heaven and mother love are the ones you can play with and then there bicycle race and invisible man which you can hear in 360 studio surround sound which can only experience in a studio. Before the tracks you have a video of Brian and roger appear and they explain all about it
