Baking is done in the oven and it is basically a constant heat all around. Broiling is done more directly with the heat source either on the top of an electric oven or in the broiling drawer of a gas stove. The heat is more direct giving you more of a "grilled" result. Broiling is a quicker way of cooking or toasting or browning.

That looks awesome! Some lightly pickled red onion and some thinly sliced English cucumber would be really good on that burger as well! Thanks for another great dinner idea! I may just have to make my own video! Love every day Sarah and I never miss an episode.

I've been trying to figure out how to serve salmon burgers and this video was uploaded as if you read my mind! Thank you for all of your videos, Sarah-- I look forward to each and every one!

Sarah - if Romaine is one of your favorite lettuces, you should try Little Gem lettuce, if you haven't already. Little Gem looks like a mini-Romaine. It has become one of my favorites for salads especially. It is difficult to find sometimes - the only place I can get it is the local farmer's market and at Green String Farm (Petaluma CA). Not even Whole Foods carries it.

1) How did I JUST see this video?!? 2) I am amazed how you made the salmon burgers the exact size of the buns. 3) I love you. 4) I don't currently have a food processor, do you think a vita mix would work?

would caned salmon work in this recipe? we dont have wild salmon in our country
@rayhanashuva80116 жыл бұрын
I think so but if you want to make it taste like wild salmon, you should put a tea spoon of full fat mayo in the patty mixture. :)

I find it a terrible waste to demolish a nicely cut piece of beautiful organic salmon, when it would've been just as good frying the salmon in some light spices, adding it first to the bun, then adding the lovely sauce.

Hi Jason, You have a point but on the other hand-There is a great combination of flavors here. You should try it, Very Good Sahra Thank you

Sarah, what's the difference between baking and broiling? I'm hearing the word "broiler" more and more, but that just looks like an oven to me. I'm pretty new to this, so I'm also pretty stupid. Please help.

there is no denying that this wouldn't taste amazing, but salmon is so expensive and only a sometimes treat for me, i cringed slightly when she minced it up with bread crumbs to make a burger!

@THEARTISTROMAN6 жыл бұрын
Chotyable That’s because it’s “farm raised”/ fake salmon. It’s raised on fatty foods in controlled pools. Real salmon u would barely see those lines and it would be a beautiful rich, deep pink/coral color from the “wild caught”.
