Saltwater Pier Catch n' Cook - Fire Sauce Shark-Fish!

Me Ancient and I explore a new pier in the Florida panhandle to see what we can catch. I also lowerred a GoPro under the pier to try and get an idea of what the heck is going on down there. It was fascinating! Keep trying new things and leveling up in real life!

Awesome video Ace!! So those were trigger fish and/or file fish and they are very curious fish! They have been known to “attack” divers cause of how curious they are! A lot of people in Florida actually eat them and say they don’t taste like fish at all! They also have a leather like skin that you peel off when cleaning

@@spinster4000 Fort Walton Beach, Florida. This is the Okaloosa Island Pier. It used to be much longer, but Hurricane Opal tore that section apart in 95. There is another pier about 20 minutes away heading west, in Navarre Beach. It's much newer and I believe it's longer too.

I came to Destin in August and fished off that pier as well. We stayed at Sun Destin. We fished off the dock but didn't catch anything, a pompano rig and everything. Glad to see a catch and cook from this spot.

I was literally just there lol I just moved down here! It's so dam beautiful! It was my first time ever fishing in the ocean! I had so much dam fun! I felt like a noob but I starting using live bait and put more weight on. Being a fisher since I was little it's so awesome to see the ocean I caught some mackerel and blue fish! And got bit by a blue fish lol but I'm so glad I moved I'm at home around here! 🥰👌

Nice to see you using the same spices and breading as us southerners do considering you live in a northern state, catfish with some Tony's and Louisiana fish fry mix with some mustard for some tang to put into it is the only way at least my family cooks fish, it's good to be Texan and get the bbq style of cooking from one side of my family and the Cajun seafood culture from the other side, definitely makes for some interesting but very tasty meals when it involves anything seafood related
