I go out to that spot a few times a year. Once when i was out to that spot in the summer at chest high wading, without my waders of coarse, something huge passed me slowly. This thing looked like it was 15ft long or so. It passed right in front of me like 2 foot or so. I was scared instantly. I backed up to knee deep and thought to myself what it could be. I eventually said to myself it was just a manatee cause it had prop scars on it's back. Usually a shark will evade boats on time but a slow manatee will get hit by the boat prop. I usually take an inflatable cooler carrier with me witch can hold a cooler and all my gear. That kids kayak was a steal though. Good fishing you two and yes that spot usually trout and reds. If you go further to your left between paradise island the the sandbar keeper Groupers!

Just getting off work watching your video when I started wade fishing I started with a floating five gallon bucket moved on to a paddle board then graduated to that very same kayak in the same color. If I get home early enough tomorrow I'll post my set up.

Josh you are a great man who drops knowledge on fishing, peace, positive vibes, never talks crazy about different races, no political stuff, and you drop knowledge of Christianity that some of us who never knew about. You're also a great comedian with respect and competition with Chris who is also a great fisherman in the videos. I would like to get a braclet Captain Josh of possible.

There is a small unmarked artificial reef someone made out of cinder blocks, oyster shells and concrete rubble located on the edge of the flat on the East side of the first bridge (Misener) leading to the Skyway. It's not far from the channel. It was loaded with mango snapper in the summer and sheepshead in the winter. A friend who fishes from a 14' John boar stumbled on it a few years ago. No GPS coordinates are available and but there was a crab trap float next to it. We have not been there in 2 years or so.

Very nice, it is amazing how much life can be seen on some of the smallest structures in the bay.

When did you fish that flat by the jetty ? I was there Saturday and seen some guys wading towards paradise island not sure if that was you . I recently been catching some really nice redfish and trout off that rock jetty . Most of the trout I was catching were above 22. Biggest about 24
@AllGlorytoGod9416 күн бұрын
But all on shrimp can’t really use artificial effectively with how close to the rocks they were hugging

Praise Jesus the ever lasting Father🙏 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ

Pretty good thinking. No point of spending big dollars on something your not doing a lot of. And it more than gets the job done. Easily mount all kinds of rod holders and what not on it.

I fished the flats last Saturday on an incoming tide . Was catching trout back to back must’ve caught 40 of em . It was hard finding them though . Had to cover a lot of ground to find them congregated

@@gerald3389 I guess it depends on what flat your fishing on the skyway . Several factors that go into it . What do you mean when you say sinking though
